Funny Monitors automatically detects the appropriate network protocol for supported monitor types. When IPv6 is available, the system can use it and fall back to IPv4 when necessary. This helps monitoring continue as DNS and network configurations evolve, without requiring teams to recreate monitors whenever the underlying address changes.

Maintenance Windows can also be configured for planned deployments or infrastructure work, helping prevent expected downtime from creating unnecessary incident alerts.
